Meet Dr. Elizabeth White
A native of Mobile, Dr. White received her Bachelor of Science in biology, cum laude, from Spring Hill College in 1983. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine with honors from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1987. Dr. White completed her pediatric dental residency and received her certificate in pediatric dentistry from the Children’s Hospital of Alabama in 1990.
During her residency, she also received a certificate in dentistry from the Sparks Center for Developmental and Learning Disorders and completed her Master of Science in the Department of Community and Public Health Dentistry at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Dr. White is a member of the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, and past president of the Third District Dental Society. She also belongs to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Dentistry, and the Alabama Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. White has served on the University of Alabama School of Dentistry Leadership Council and is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Having practiced pediatric dentistry in Dothan for more than two decades, Dr. White is married to Len White and they have two children, Luke and Mary Frances. When she is not busy with family and church activities, she enjoys reading and gardening.
